“Vague Landscape” is a video made of pictures taken by security cameras around Iceland (collected during an artistic residency on the island). The footages show the moments when the landscape is formed and disappeared amidst noise due to lack of light, mist, or snow. The images’ instability is central in “Vague Landscape,” a landscape constructed with awry footages. It is an incomplete representation of a place, disturbed by noises and constant interruptions, a reality in transformation.
The soundtrack (composed by Nik Neves) departs from the modulation of noise to create the music.
